Guardian News and Media has launched an online digital version of Guardian Weekly, one of the World's best-selling international weekly newspapers. PageSuite Professional is an interactive software application for creating digital editions. It enables internet users to access, browse and interact with all kinds of editorial content and advertising material without the need to download additional software.
Guardian News and Media began publishing digital versions of Guardian Weekly using PageSuite technology in September 2007 and decided to continue after positive results from their readers.
Eva Lake, Deputy Marketing Manager of Guardian Weekly said "Having already worked successfully with PageSuite on Money Observer's digital edition, we chose them as our partner to launch Guardian Weekly's new digital edition, and it was a great experience. The whole team was incredibly helpful during the set up process, enabling us to develop a solution that suits our magazine readers and fits our specific business model. Our readers have been satisfied with our upgraded digital edition, giving us lots of positive feedback about how great it is to read the paper online before the paper is off the press."
PageSuite Limited is a Kent-based software development company with many years' experience of web-based design and application development, led by Nathan Parrett.
Nathan Parrett, Managing Director says "We are proud to be working with such an established group as Guardian News and Media. We have worked closely together to deliver this solution for them. Our new product is very exciting and now with even more rich media content available I am confident that this solution will appeal to even more publishers, providing them with ways to
generate and save money."
