South East Business Award finalist in the Innovation & Creativity category sponsored by QinetiQ and Shoosmiths

PageSuite Limited from Ashford has been chosen as a finalist for a South East Business Award. These Awards, managed by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) are for companies which have demonstrated that they are making a powerful business contribution to the region.

PageSuite Limited has entered the Innovation & Creativity category. The judging process involved a comprehensive audit of entrants’ business methodologies carried out by experts. The judging panels are made up of representatives from organisations such as QinetiQ, the Federation of Small Business (FSB), Confederation of British Industries (CBI), Henley Management College, Business in the Community, BT, and Kingston University.

PageSuite are a software development company who specialise in digital page-turning applications. Their principal market is newspaper and magazine publishers with the software being developed with this market firmly in mind. Current clients include 7 of the top 10 UK regional newspaper publishers as well as a number of leading Irish and International titles.

PageSuite decided to enter the Innovation and Creativity Award after successfully fulfilling a market need in a way that no other page-turning application has done previously or since.

James Goffin from client Archant summarises the benefits of working with PageSuite. “Working with PageSuite has made digital editions simple. Our papers are complicated, but the way PageSuite has integrated with our systems means our papers are online before I've got out of bed. "We’ve found our PageSuite editions so easy to set up and maintain. We've had great feedback from readers and have tapped into new revenue streams, and it's cut postage costs and staff time for our subscriptions department."

"I am delighted that PageSuite has been chosen as a finalist," said Jeff Alexander, Chair of the South East Business Awards and SEEDA Executive Director for Global Competitiveness. "The judges have recognised their expertise and record in the area of innovation. The excellence demonstrated by PageSuite will help other businesses around the region to consider implementing best practice and therefore drive business success throughout the region."

PageSuite will be attending the Awards Ceremony on 6th March 2008, at Ascot Racecourse where they will have the opportunity to meet with judges and peers. The keynote speaker will be Digby Lord Jones, Minister for Trade & Investment. More information is available at www.southeastbusinessawards.co.uk
